BBZGuitars
High Wycombe music shop is well worth a visit if you’re within striking
distance of Bucks and you’re looking for your next electric guitar. Our
collection of electric guitars boasts some of the best-kept secret gems
of the guitar world, including Gordon
Smith, DBZGuitars, Fret King, LAG, Antoria, Aria, Sheridan, Indie, Tanglewood, Dean, Danelectro, Washburn, Italia, and, of course, Vintage guitars from JHS. You can view all of
our products at BBZGuitars’ online guitar shop or, better still, come
down to our Buckinghamshire guitar showroom in High Wycombe for a personal
test-drive. And, if you’ve got a great guitar that needs a bit of love
and attention, bring that in too; check out our Repairs
and Service section
for more information and pricing.
Every electric guitar in-store at our High Wycombe music shop has had a professional set-up. When you buy a new guitar from BBZGuitars, you also get our Free one-year set-up warranty, giving you two free set-ups in the first 12 months of purchase and including a full health check on your electric guitar – you only pay for replacement strings.
Gordon Smith guitars are hardworking British-made electric guitars with a clean and distinctive tone; BBZ’ MD, Steve Busby, has had one in his personal collection for more than 10 years and swears he’d let his Gibsons and Fenders go before his Gordon Smith. Not only are they beautiful to look at, they’re also extremely versatile for the price which should make them very appealing if you’re a gigging musician. We’ve got some superb GS models in our Buckinghamshire guitar shop but you can also order a custom-built guitar if you don’t mind waiting a few weeks.
DBZ Guitars are US-designed by Dean B. Zelinsky, who established the original Dean Guitars brand; these stunning axes are built in the Far East to a really high standard. All DBZ Guitars have rich dark ebony fret boards giving you superb tone. Except for the EMG models, they all come with coil tapped DBZ-designed high output humbuckers. We really love the Premier Series, which is what we’ve currently go in-store at our High Wycombe music shop in Bucks.
Fret King is another must-try range of electric guitars we’ve got at the Buckinghamshire guitar shop. The Fret King range was created by renowned UK luthier Trev Wilkinson and includes the Green Label series, which is hand-built in sunny Blighty, and the Blue Label series, produced to unbelievably high standards at Trev’s production plant in Korea. We’ve currently got a selection of both series at BBZGuitars’ High Wycombe music shop.
LAG guitars must be one of France’s best kept secrets. With LAG, luthier, Michel Lag, has managed to create a range of guitars to fit all playing styles, abilities and budgets. We’ve selected our favourites from the Arkane and Roxane collections of electric guitars; the Tramontane collection is also worth a test drive if you’re shopping for acoustic and electro acoustic guitars in Bucks.
Antoria guitars of course have been around for decades and they’re now better than ever and in-stock at the High Wycombe guitar shop. Totally giggable but affordably priced, these are perfect guitars for both beginners and semi pro musicians.
Another good brand offering guitars for entry level and advanced players is Aria. Down at our Buckinghamshire music shop, we’ve selected models from Aria’s STG and PE series of guitars, both of which offer great quality build and playability for the money.
One brand that seems to be increasing in popularity for guitar buyers in Bucks is Sheridan guitars. We’ve gone for the classic finishes for our High Wycombe guitar shop. Most of the models come with a solid mahogany body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. They also feature twin EMG-HZ open coil humbucker pickups, tune-o-matic bridges and authentic Grover closed back machine heads.
Italia guitars have got to be the gigging musician’s choice and, with their stunning retro form, you can expect loads of attention if you gig with them in Buckinghamshire (or anywhere else for that matter). Arguably the most comfortable and responsive range we sell in our High Wycombe music store, Italia electric guitars really deliver the best of both worlds - a smooth rounded sound on clean channels and a superb rock or blues vibe with overdrive.
Vintage electric guitars, from JHS, have something for everyone and every musical genre as well. Whilst some models (definitely not all) may be similar in styling and feel to premium brands such as Gibson, Epiphone and Fender, Vintage beats them all when it comes to value for money. Like Italia guitars, Vintage is one of the best-selling brands in our High Wycombe guitar shop and that’s probably because where tone, playability and build quality are concerned, Vintage is very difficult to beat for the price.
Apart from all these beauties, we’ve also got other superb electric guitars gracing the walls of our High Wycombe guitar shop, including models from Indie, Tanglewood, Dean, Danelectro and Washburn.
Next time you have a spare moment, grab your favourite amp (or use one of ours) and get down to our Bucks music shop to try-out some of these great guitars and see what you’re missing. Alternatively visit our online guitar shop and take a look at the deals we’re doing.
