Buckinghamshire
based BBZGuitars was set up in High Wycombe by Steve Busby, a former professional
guitarist. Steve, now a resident of Bucks, grew up in Surrey, where he was
drawn to playing the guitar by his love for the Blues as played by local
heroes Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton as well as his 'favourite East Ender',
Peter Green.
Since the Seventies, Steve has been acquiring, collecting, gigging and maintaining an impressive array of electric guitars, acoustic guitars, basses and valve amplifiers. However, whilst his collection features guitars from Gibson, Fender, PRS and other super brand manufacturers, it was his personal discovery of affordable, world class instruments from luthiers such as Vintage, Gordon Smith and Tanglewood, that gave Steve his inspiration for BBZGuitars.
Steve’s goal with BBZGuitars is to provide a range of quality products for all budgets and musical tastes whether beginners, intermediate or experienced guitarists. Equally, the company aims to deliver the type of expert advice and after sales service that Steve would want from a guitar retailer himself.
The range of guitars (acoustic guitars, electric guitars and bass guitars), effects pedals, amplifiers, guitar accessories, and, as available, second hand equipment, stocked by BBZGuitars is all of the highest quality, vetted and selected by Steve and, as importantly, by BBZGuitars’ customers.
BBZGuitars is fast establishing an international reputation for delivering great guitars and sound advice, with several customers now regularly buying from continental Europe and North America. But BBZ is just as keen to provide an outstanding service to customers buying guitars in the UK, many of whom live locally in towns that include High Wycombe, Oxford, Reading, Maidenhead, Marlow, Windsor, Slough, Beaconsfield, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, Amersham, Berkhamsted and London.
