BBZGUITARS BRINGS HAMER AND BREEDLOVE GUITARS TO HIGH WYCOMBE

14 April, 2008 - BBZGuitars, the High Wycombe based guitar specialist, has announced the addition of Hamer electric guitars and Breedlove acoustic guitars to its product range.

Hamer, now owned by Fender, is a premier boutique brand from the USA. It runs a ‘Custom Shop’ in Chicago and produces its XT models in Indonesia, along with companies like Yamaha and its parent, Fender.

“We wanted to extend the range of well built, playable and affordable electric guitars at BBZ and found that the Hamer XT range ticked all the boxes,” said BBZGuitars’ chief executive, Steve Busby. “Impressive shapes like the Flying V and Explorer-type designs as well as the more traditional double cut Les Paul-esque designs, when coupled with great pickup configurations, make Hamer guitars an excellent choice for guitarists, whatever their musical style.”

Frequently compared with Martin and Taylor as one of the most sought after acoustic instruments available, BBZGuitars has also introduced Breedlove to its portfolio of boutique guitars.

Protecting the environment is a major feature of Breedlove’s guitar production; the company will not use rain forest woods in any of its products and is recognised as offering the widest selection of non-traditional tone woods in the industry.

BBZGuitars has initially focused on providing the Passport Series of Breedlove acoustic guitars. This series is crafted in Korea, to the exacting standards of its USA Headquarters. The range was initially devised for the travelling guitar player but has recently been extended to include full size and full scale models.

“For the price point, Breedlove offers tremendously high build quality and superb playability,” continued Busby. “When combined with their balanced tones and acoustic and electro acoustic options, they’re an exceptional guitar for the money.”
