BBZGUITARS OPENS FOR BUSINESS IN HIGH WYCOMBE
New music venture offers top-quality guitars for all budgets and skill levels

Tuesday 27 November, 2007 - Former professional guitarist, Steve Busby has launched BBZGuitars, a new business venture in High Wycombe Bucks, which will offer a range of top-end guitars and peripherals backed by a level of expert advice and after-sales service more familiar in a corporate environment.

Busby, who has been collecting, gigging and maintaining an impressive array of guitars, basses and amplifiers since the 70s, believes he has something unique to offer to all types of guitarists whether beginners, intermediates or advanced players.

“Beginners and intermediates, particularly those returning to the guitar after several years in corporate life, often don’t know what to buy if it’s not emblazoned with one of the super logos,” said Busby. “In the last 10 years, a lot of guitar production has gone to places like China, Korea and Indonesia which means that you can now buy really excellent equipment at extremely competitive prices.”

But whilst, customers no longer need to spend £2000 plus on an American-made guitar to get a great product, buyers do still need to take care because not all instruments manufactured in the Far East are of a high quality. Fortunately, this is an area of expertise within BBZGuitars.

“I want people to be able to come to the showroom, play the guitars and get a feel for what’s available,” continued Busby. “For people unsure of what to buy, we’ll be happy to talk them through the options, answer any questions they may have and make recommendations.”

For advanced users, BBZGuitars will offer a portfolio of boutique equipment such as Gordon Smith, First Act and other limited edition guitars, as well as bespoke amplifiers, pedals, microphones and second-hand equipment. The company will also provide a sourcing service for rare or deleted product lines.

Currently, BBZGuitars has dealerships with First Act, St. Blues, Italia, Gordon Smith, Vintage, Antoria, Danelectro, Sound City, Kustom Amplification, Ernie Ball, D’Addario, GHS, Planet Waves, Traynor Amplification, MXR and Dunlop.
