BBZGuitars to host first vintage guitar clinic in High Wycombe
Live music event offers education and entertainment for Bucks’ guitar enthusiasts
Tuesday 4 December, 2007 - BBZGuitars, in association with John Hornby Skewes (JHS), has announced that it will host a Vintage® guitar clinic starting at 7.30pm on Wednesday 30th January 2008 at the Nags Head in High Wycombe.
The clinic, which features two hours of live music entertainment, is aimed at guitarists of all ages and abilities and is presented by JHS guitarist and artist liaison manager, Gav Coulson.
During his set, Gav will deliver a series of product demonstrations and live performances using the Vintage, Vintage Advance and Vintage Icon Series guitar ranges. The clinic is designed to be interactive and questions are invited throughout the session; the audience will also have lots of opportunity to try-out the guitars for themselves.
“Guitarists tend to get excited when they’ve seen and heard the Vintage range,” said Gav Coulson. “Most people say it’s the realisation that you don’t have to spend a fortune to get something this good.”
The clinic is hosted by High Wycombe-based BBZGuitars, and also heralds the launch of the Vintage Advance Series range at the company’s retail guitar showroom and online business.
“Whether you’re an experienced guitarist or a complete novice, Vintage offers tremendous value for money, particularly when compared with premium-priced brands, like Fender and Gibson,” said Busby. “I’ve got Stratocasters and Les Pauls in my personal collection, and I was amazed that the Vintage V6 and the Vintage V100, especially the Icon Series, were so close to these guitars, and are very gigable.”

Everyone who buys a ticket for the event will also benefit from a £20 discount on any Vintage guitar purchased on the night or before 6th February, from BBZGuitars. In addition, all beers are £2-a-pint and there will be a number of musical prizes to be won throughout the evening.
