25 August 2008 - Buckinghamshire based guitar specialist, BBZGuitars of High Wycombe has introduced VOX Valvetronix amplifiers and Korg guitar accessories to the range of products available from its Bucks guitar showroom and online store.

VOX amps are perhaps best known for delivering the sounds of world-famous artists, such as the Beatles, Jeff Beck, Brian May, Rory Gallagher and countless others. In a recent survey of UK guitarists*, VOX was voted one of the top-five guitar amps that guitarists of all ages would most like to own, ahead of many popular brands, including Orange, Peavey and Roland.

BBZGuitars has selected three key models from the VOX Valvetronix range to complement its existing portfolio of Kustom, Traynor and Sound City guitar amplifiers. They are, the new AD50VT, AD30VT and AD15VT amps.

All the Valvetronix amplifiers feature the patented VOX Valve Reactor. The Valve Reactor circuit uses a 12AX7 triode vacuum valve in the pre-amp, together with a low-wattage valve power-amp circuit, a virtual output transformer and a dummy speaker circuit that accurately emulates the output of a real speaker from the selected model.

It also intelligently reconfigures itself to mimic the characteristics of the amps it is modeling (class A, class AB, negative feedback circuit, etc.). This means that all of the subtle tones of the original amp being modeled; including sound, feel, distortion and presence are reproduced.

In addition to the VOX range of amps, BBZGuitars is also stocking the company's effects pedals, including its latest Satchurator pedal designed with Joe Satriani and the famous VOX Wah- Wah pedal. As part of the same agreement, BBZGuitars has also become a Korg dealer and will be supplying Korg's collection of multi-track recording studios, professional tuners, multi-effects units and other specialist products.
